Artificial intelligence offers powerful tools for social activism and amplifies the creative capacities of artists committed to promoting alternative narratives to those of totalitarian regimes. ALAS is currently developing its “AI for Democracy” project to encourage and organize the creation of such narratives from artists within Cuba and in exile, empowering them to use artificial intelligence technologies for audiovisual production.
