The Cuban exile community and the opposition to the Cuban government need a mechanism for dialogue and coordination that is pluralistic and inclusive, aimed at designing and promoting the transition to democracy in Cuba, as well as the model for society, economy, and political system after the non-violent transition.
ALAS fosters political coordination among the involved parties, the pursuit of consensus, and the mobilization of all stakeholders toward dialogue as a legitimate solution for peace, democracy, and prosperity in post-transition Cuba.
